Viscalo uses the Anthropic Claude API to provide AI meal suggestions and food photo analysis. When you use these features, relevant data (such as your remaining macros or a food photo) is sent to Anthropic's servers for processing. Anthropic's use of this data is governed by their privacy policy. We do not send personally identifiable information to Anthropic beyond what is necessary to provide the feature.
Your data is stored using Google Firebase, which provides authentication and cloud database services. Data is stored on Google's servers in accordance with Google's security standards. Nutrition logs and profile data are stored in Firebase Firestore. Some data may also be stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage.

Subscription purchases are processed through Google Play Billing and managed through RevenueCat. We do not store payment card information. RevenueCat receives your Google Play purchase data to verify subscription status. RevenueCat's privacy policy governs their use of this data.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Nutrition log entries are automatically pruned after 30 days within the app. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time at viscalo.com/delete-account.
